About
Graduating from Medical School in 2008 Mr Moverley then completed junior doctor roles in some of London’s most prestigious hospitals and undertook a six-year higher surgical training program learning from some of the most respected surgeons in the country.
He undertook a year long fellowship at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital focussing on arthroscopic shoulder surgery, shoulder replacement and trauma. He completed his training in highly specialised elbow practice, learning cutting edge techniques in the treatment of elbow trauma, instability and arthritis.
Mr Moverley became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2017 and is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
Mr. Moverley’s special interests include upper limb trauma, complex sports shoulder and elbow surgery. Mr. Moverley has an in depth experience of shoulder replacement in all age groups, using the latest 3-D CT planning technology and the best performing implants to maximise a patient’s function and quality of life.
Mr. Moverley remains a keen footballer and cyclist as well as enjoying skiing, golf and learning to kite surf. Having sustained many serious sports injuries he has a passion for returning patients to their maximum level of physical function possible.
